The J Effect is a 100% cruelty-free brand. The majority of our products are vegan; however, a few formulas contain ethically sourced ingredients like Honey or Milk Lipids. Please refer to the full ingredient list on each product page for specifics.

Many of our products are gentle enough for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. However, some of our more active formulas contain ingredients like Retinoids. We always recommend consulting with your healthcare professional before introducing any new products into your routine during this special time.

On each product, you will find a Period After Opening (PAO) symbol (it looks like an open jar) with a number followed by an "M" (e.g., "12M"). This indicates how many months the product will remain fresh after it has been opened. Our fresh, natural scrubs have a shorter lifespan, which is noted on their labels.

Shipping & Delivery

Please allow 2-3 business days for our team to carefully prepare and pack your order for shipment from our facility in the USA.

Returns & Exchanges

Your satisfaction is our priority. We gladly accept returns for items that arrive damaged or defective within 30 days of receipt. Due to the personal nature of skincare, we cannot accept returns on opened or used products for safety and hygiene reasons. For full details, please read our Returns & Exchanges policy.
