Why use beef tallow on skin?
Tallow's fatty acid profile closely resembles the natural oils in human skin, which is why it absorbs well and feels so comforting. It is also a natural source of fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K.
Will tallow cream feel greasy?
It is rich at first touch but absorbs fully within a few minutes. A little goes a long way: warm a small amount between your fingertips before applying.
What if my tallow cream melts?
Tallow melts at around 85°F. If it softens in transit or in a warm room, the oils may separate. Simply stir gently and refrigerate briefly to restore the texture. Store in a cool, dark place.
Can citrus oils make skin sun-sensitive?
Bergamot peel oil can increase sensitivity to sunlight. Apply Citrus Grove to skin that will be covered, or use it in the evening, and avoid direct sun on application areas for 12 hours.
